Summary: One of the scariest things that comes to mind when aliens get brought up, aside from Xenomorphs, is the concept of an alien abduction. Who knows what those inquisitive beings want from unsuspecting humans. Judging by this film, it is the stuff of nightmares...

History: In 1975, poor Arizonian logger Travis Walton was found a traumatized, borderline insane mess after a five-day disappearance. According to him, he had been abducted by aliens and cruelly experimented one before finding a way out. Pretty much everyone has a hard time believing him, and the rest of the movie is dedicated to the investigation all about it.

Notable Kills: One of their test subjects is seen on the edge of life and death, and looking rather decomposed in some areas.

Final Fate: What happened to Travis with the aliens is eventually revealed in flashback form, much to the audience's horror. At least it is shown that he passed the lying test afterwards, and is even given celebrity status for his incredible tale.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4.5-Words utterly fail to describe the sheer terror that one small flashback sequence can bring. Indeed, that scene is exactly why people dread alien abduction, especially if it's from these unfeeling monsters who gladly mangle their captives for science. We won't even describe it in detail, but know that if you want to see it, you were warned.

Trivia: -In truth, the flashback bears no resemblance to the real Travis Walton's story. They don't even include the part where he said that he drove the ship back!

-Of course, other details that the film didn't account for including him fighting off the aliens, and other surviving humans helping him get back to Earth.
